Nokia E71: How to Enable the Cell Broadcast Service

In this mini-guide will explain how to activate the cell broadcast service on your Nokia E71 (to know what this service, see this guide ).

To receive cell broadcast messages, you must activate the reception by going to Options> Settings> Reception> On. To view messages related to aspecific topic, simply select the topic.

To receive, instead, messages related to a topic, select Options> Subscribe.

The service also allows you to set important topics as hot topics. That way if the device is in standby mode and mode, receive a message about unimportant user is immediately informed. Simply select a topic, choice Options>Select.

To add, edit or delete topics, select Options> Topic.
