The Nokia E71 Cell Broadcasting Service: Information

In this article, we give you information about the cell broadcast network service with which you can receive messages on various topics (e.g., weather, traffic, etc. ...) in a given geographic area, your mobile device in the Nokia E71.

The path to reach this service is as follows: Menu> Communic.> Messaging> Options> Cell broadcast.

For available topics and relevant topic numbers, contact your service provider. If the device is in the remote SIM or is connected to UMTS (3G) you cannot receive cell broadcast messages.

Caution: the presence of a packet data connection (GPRS) connection may prevent cell broadcast reception.
